Bush Abandoned Hunt For Bin Laden

I guess that answers our question.
Bush shut down CIA "Bin Laden Unit" Last Year
Can they really still be hunting for him if they disbanded the special unit that has been hunting for him for the past 10 years?
This means that Presidunce Bush gave up the hunt for Bin Laden a freggin year ago and never told us. Oh, and ten years ago when the unit was set up to hunt the threat called Bin Laden way before 9/11, someone else was president.
CIA officials said that tracking bin Laden and his deputies remains a high priority, and that the decision to disband the unit is not a sign that the effort has slackened. Instead, the officials said, the realignment reflects a belief that the agency can better deal with high-level threats by focusing on regional trends rather than on specific organizations or individuals.
I'll just let that one hang in its own soil for a moment.
