Apparently, some US Senators drink water directly from the bottle and a Rabbi from (surprise) Brooklyn is convinced this means the end is nigh.
As you might expect, we agree with the Rabbi wholeheartedly. It is a sign of the deplorable moral decline of our nation that some senators no longer use paper dixie cups. Whereas, the fact that most senators have finally stopped pining for the days of slavery and Jim Crow is a sign of absolutely nothing. Certainly it tells us nothing about the moral state of our nation, if it is even noticed at all.
[Translation for the dim: Americans are more moral in 2006 than we have been at any previous time in history.]
